Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase, and we’re here to help if something isn’t quite right.
Full-Price Purchases
Full-price items may be returned within 14 days for:

a refund
-
an exchange
-
or a store credit (valid for 3 years)
Items must be unworn, in original condition, and include all packaging.
Discounted Purchases (including discount codes)
Discounted items cannot be refunded.
This includes:

sale items
-
automatically discounted items
-
any discount code used at checkout (including welcome codes)
We’re very happy to offer:

an exchange, or
-
a store credit, or
-
a store credit
This policy is clearly displayed on every product page and helps us keep our prices fair as a small independent retailer.
Sizing Issues
Sizing can be tricky when shopping online — we totally understand!
We’re always happy to help with size advice before you buy, and if something doesn’t fit, we’ll gladly arrange an exchange or store credit.
How to Start a Return
Please lodge all returns via our online portal:

Eligibility:
You may return items for an exchange, store credit, or refund (for full-priced items) within 14 days of delivery.
Conditions:
- Items must be unworn, in brand-new condition with all original packaging.
- Discounted items are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
- Gift cards, special orders, and certain undergarments are non-returnable.
- Not a special order, backorder or made-to-order item.
Process:
- Log a return request via our Returns portal
- Ensure the item meets return conditions and include proof of purchase in the package.
- Return items by post or in-store within 14 days.
Returns can be made in person by appointment.
Postage:
- Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
- Vegan Style will cover postage for one exchange after receiving the returned item.
Refund timeline:
- Refunds, minus restocking fees, typically take 10-15 business days to process after the return has been received.
- For Afterpay returns, a further 5% restocking fee applies.
Faulty Items & Warranty Assessment
We want every pair of shoes to perform well, and most manufacturing faults show up early in the product’s life — usually within the first 2–6 months of wear.
If you believe your item may have a fault, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help.
To assess a potential fault, customers are responsible for returning the item to us. This is in line with Australian Consumer Law, which requires customers to return items for inspection unless the item is unusually bulky or difficult to transport. Footwear is generally easy to post and can be returned via your preferred courier.
Once we receive your return, we will assess the item promptly. If the issue is confirmed to be a genuine manufacturing fault within a reasonable timeframe, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund as required under Australian Consumer Law.
If the fault is confirmed, we will also reimburse your return postage or provide a postage credit.
If the issue is found to be caused by wear and tear, sizing issues, fit, misuse, or damage, it will not be considered a manufacturing fault, and the item will be returned to you.
Return Fraud
Vegan Style reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds if we suspect misuse of our returns policy. This includes (but isn’t limited to) excessive return patterns, items being worn and then returned, tampering, or attempts to return items that are not in their original condition.
All items must be unworn, unused, and in their original packaging to qualify for a return. Items that do not meet these standards may be declined.
Compliance with Australian Consumer Law
We comply with all obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
If an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, we will happily arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with ACCC guidelines.
Please note that misuse of our policy — including excessive returns or attempted return fraud — may result in return requests being refused.
Change of Mind
Please note:

We cannot apply discount codes retrospectively.

Discount codes cannot be combined.

If an item is already on sale or discounted, additional discounts do not apply unless otherwise stated.
Change-of-mind returns follow the same conditions listed above and are only eligible for a refund if the item was purchased at full price.
